Big Daddy is just the latest search engine trying to take a piece of the Google pie. With the Internet growing at a phenomenal rate, it is not surprising to see search engines come and go. Yesterdays top rated companies have been bought, sold, modified, or don't even exist today. This is normal and healthy for the consumer, who want their Internet searches to be quick, relevant, and without a lot of ad clutter.

Most search engines are commercial enterprises that are in business to make a profit. This is accomplished by selling advertisement space. The most relevant web page may not receive the best ranking simply because someone else was willing to pay more to be at the top of the search result page. Good for them but bad for you.

If you are running a business through your web site, you know how important it is to have a good ranking position on the search engine results. People will rarely even look at the second or third page of results.
You may have the best product or service available anywhere at any price, but without the customer seeing your site, you are going to fail.

So what does Big Daddy have to do with all this? Big Daddy is a new search engine that hopes to dominate the Internet by using a unique strategy. They will provide the same type of search capability you have come to rely on, however they will share the advertising revenue with their affiliate members. Since their affiliate program is free, they expect a tremendous number of users to come on board. The more members they have, the more they can charge for their advertising space. This translates into more ad revenue.

Each of the affiliates is given their own Search Engine Portal. (Also free) As they search the web, they earn credits that may be used to promote their own e-businesses. A win–win situation.

This strategy has resulted in a huge world wide response and is putting Big Daddy into position to take their share of billions of dollars in ad revenue that will be spent in the coming years.

Perhaps even more note worthy is the selling of key words to the Search Big Daddy affiliates. Using the pay per click revenue generated from their Search Engine Portal, affiliates can bid on key words. You will then "own" the key word for one year. Obviously the better key words you own, the higher you will be listed in the search engine results. The higher your position, the more traffic to your web site and hopefully, more money in your pocket.

There are many other programs and opportunities being offered by Big Daddy that you will have to investigate on you own. For the small Internet business or the individual, these may prove beneficial.

Only time will tell if Search Big Daddy becomes the next Google, but, with over 50 countries currently being represented, and hundreds of people signing up daily, it would seem like they are on the way!
