Over the last several weeks I have been looking at some of the reasons why this is a good time to start thinking about starting you own business. We all know how shaky the world economy is and have heard about downsizing and layoffs.
As I have mentioned before, there are three things that have converged to make this a perfect time to take your future into your own hands:
1. The growth of the internet
2. The explosion of the home-based business
3. The health and wellness industry
If you are contemplating having your own business, here are some things you might want to consider in choosing a company to be affiliated with.
1. Does the opportunity being offered seem to be to good to be true? It probably is. If they are offering a program that will make you rich with no effort on your part, the run and take your wallet with you! Any worthwhile endeavor will require patience and effort on your part if it is to succeed. There will also be great rewards!
2. What are others saying about this opportunity? The web is full of information. Do your homework before you commit to anything. Visit chat rooms and blog sites to see what others are saying. Ask a trusted friend or advisor what they think.
3. Does the company you are looking at have any longevity? How long have they been around? You and I both know that many internet companies are here today and gone today! Look for an opportunity with a company that has a proven track record over a long period of time. It is often true that success comes with experience.
4. What kind of help are you going to get when you become an affiliate? None of us have the same amount of skill, experience, time, money or contacts to succeed on our own. It is important to know up front what the level of commitment the company is going to have in helping you succeed!
I could probably go on and on but I won't. These are some of the things I asked before I became involved with VEEMA. They have great health and wellness products, a 10 year track record, great support and a phenomenal compensation plan. The whole package. If this sounds like something you would like to review, then visit my site at:

Let's make some Money!
Hi again everyone, I know there are a lot of you who have been wondering how to make some money working from home. I will try to answer some of your questions now, and maybe go into greater detail later. Ok here we go…
The quickest way to make money is by selling the goods and services of someone else. This is Affiliate Marketing. The secret is to find products and services that people want and secondly a compensation plan that will pay you the most money for your effort. Makes sense right?
Today there are three things that provide us with an opportunity that is huge:
· The Internet
There are 500 million people using the Internet today and that number is predicted to reach over 1.5 billion in the near future. Millions of these people are looking for an easy, affordable, and lucrative way to start a home based business.
· The Home-Based Business
With all the ups and down in the economy, it is no wonder that people want to take charge of their own futures. At the present time there are less than 40 million home-based business owners. That number will reach 95 million in the next two years! Why? Of the top 1% of wealthy people, 3 out of 4 made their money with their own businesses.
· The Wellness Industry Boom
Many experts believe that more millionaires will be created in the wellness industry than in real estate in the 80's or the Internet boom of the 90's! Wellness is expected to make up 1/7 of our entire economy. A $ 1 trillion dollar industry by 2010.
What if you could find a business where all three of these trends come together? I did!! I have found an Internet based business that has all the tools and support to be successful, a proven wellness product from an established company, a very generous compensation plan. And as if that isn't enough, you can join this program and see the results before you spend a dime!
I could go on and on… If any of this seems like something that might be of interest to you, then visit my web page and check this out: http://www.vemmabuilder.com/337237805

Blogging - As Easy As 1-2-3

A blog is basically an online journal where you digitally write down your thoughts, ideas, opinions and practically anything else that you want people to read. Blogs come in different styles, formats, and settings, depending on the preference of the user. Many blogging sites, offer built in features such as hyperlink, straight texts, pictures etc. Some blogging sites, even allow you to put video and mp3's on your blogs. Instead of writing texts, some bloggers choose to make their blogs more audio friendly, by using spoken word entries. This is called audio blogging.
Usually a blog will contain some or all of these features:
Title- this allows you to label your post for future reference
Body- this is the content portion of your blog post
Track back- allows other sites to be linked back to your blog site
Permanent link- every article that you write has a URL assigned to it
Comments section- this allows readers to post comments about your blog.
One of the many advantages of blog sites is that they are simple to create and maintain. This makes it easier for blog users to create new pages, add video, audio, or other elements easily. Blog site providers usually offer numerous templates to choose from to allow you to personalize your blog page. This is especially useful for first time bloggers.
Anyone who wants to start a blog can do so by becoming a member of the blogging website of their choice. Once they've become members, they automatically become a part of that particular blogging community. They can browse through other bloggers pages, and link them back to their own blogs. They can also make comments on other members' blogs. This interaction is commonly called "Social Networking". MySpace is perhaps the best-known example of this phenomenon.
There are many people who choose to blog about their interests such as sports, politics, philosophy, social commentary, business, religion, etc. This way blogging becomes a medium in which people can share their knowledge and opinions about a variety of themes and topics. You can always find someone who shares the same interests you do.
Some bloggers even use their blogs as a way to advertise their products or services to their blogging community. An author may advertise her newest book or article on her blog page. A singer or musician may preview their latest song or album via their page. Home-based businesses can be highlighted as well: http://www.Extreme-Profits.wordpress is an example of this. You may choose to use you blog to review current events or just talk about the weather. It is up to you and your imagination!
Nowadays in education, blogs are also playing an increasingly more important role. Professors use blogging to document the lessons that they have taught, provide an opportunity for students to ask questions or make comments, or to post grades.
This has proven to be a useful tool for educators and students alike.
A lot of entrepreneurs benefit from blogging by promoting their businesses on their blogs. With millions and millions of people logging onto the net everyday, blogging has become a useful means to grow an Internet business. This is perhaps the most cost effective method of advertising available today! For more information about this methodology, visit: http://www.directmatches.com/glennoco
Perhaps the most popular blog type is the one that takes the form of a personal journal. This is the kind that is usually used by first time bloggers. Individuals who want to document the daily struggles and triumphs of their everyday lives. This is done through poetry, pictures, essays, music, etc. Never before has it been possible for an individual to reach so many other people in real time. You can literally have your blog page read by millions of people around the world! Blogging is popular all over the world. There are no rules when it comes to blogging. Bloggers have the freedom to express themselves however they want, and the best thing about blogging, is that most blogging sites are free.
There are numerous blogging websites to choose from on the net. This give first time users the option of joining a blogging community that matches their interests. If you search any blogging directory you will find a listing of blogging sites that are available on the net. Review the various categories that are available to you. If you find something of interest, join and get blogging ;))

Why A Blog Site?
Copyright © Glenn Jones
http://www.Extreme-Profits.com
Blogging as we know it started in late 1990s. It was a way to comment about someone's webpage, an opportunity for visitors to react and voice their opinion about what they had read. What started as a single-sentence comment has evolved into pages of personal commentary and review about every subject you can possibly imagine. Blogging has become so popular that internet marketers have began to tap into this huge opportunity to sell their goods and services to an untapped market. As the world wide web continues to evolve, you will see a continued use of blog sites to promote e-commerce. Why blog?
First of all blogging is simple. The simplest way to have a presence on the net is through blogging. Very few skills are necessary-if you can read, type, and click a mouse – you can blog. If you have access to a computer and an Internet connection (who doesn’t?) then you can blog.
Secondly blogging is more personal than traditional advertising. In this day and age where advertising is done with endorsements from movie stars and celebrities, it is refreshing to hear from ordinary people talking about their lives, loves, and passions. A blog gives a sense of credibility to the writer and by association, to their products as well. Building trust is the primary benefit marketers will derive from a quality blog presence on the web.
Thirdly, blogging is inexpensive. If you are new to internet marketing, you can set up a blog site for very little, however, when your budget is large enough you should consider upgrading. You will need to spend time and effort if you want to provide quality content for your readers. People are more apt to read your information if it is presented in a clear, professional manner. There are many tools available to accomplish this. I recommend Word Press as one of the best sites to build your blog presence. They provide a wide range of tools and accessories to build your blog site.
Forth blogging has the potential to increase your market share.
· Your new blog site should contain links to your company home page. You must provide the opportunity for your readers to find out more about your company and the product or services you provide. This word-of-mouth advertising is one method to grow your business.
· Use your blog to high light one of your products. Why is your product better than your competition? What problem does your product solve?
· Offer discount coupons or other "gifts" to your blog site visitors. Not only will your number of visitors increase, but you will gain valuable information about the people visiting your blog site.
· Use your blog to survey your readers. What do they like about your product? What don't they like? What products would they like to see available? How often do they purchase this product? Etc. etc. This can serve as a starting point for new product development.
· Join a blog network. There are networks for every conceivable group or subject you can imagine. People who visit your site are there because they have an interest in what you are doing. Targeted visitors are the best you can ask for. If you have done your work properly, these visitors will be easier to convert to customers
· Use RSS feeds to support your blogging effort. RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is a fast growing technology used on the Internet today. Loyal visitors to your site can use an RSS feed to receive new information from you as soon as it is posted. This allows them to stay current with what is being posted on your blog. You have the opportunity to "feed" information to potential customers.
A well-constructed blog site should be a part of every internet marketing strategy. Without a blog, you are slowing your growth and leaving money on the table!

No Website? - No Problem!
It is a commonly held belief that in order to conduct business on the World Wide Web, you must have your very own website. Your own website is your "virtual store" in cyberspace where your potential customers come to in order to view your goods or services. This is only one way available to you as an affiliate marketer.
Though it’s true that having your own website can greatly aid you in your quest to achieve success in the online field, a website is necessary to succeed as an affiliate marketer. It is true, you can make a living online as an affiliate even if you do not have your own website!
How is this possible? Read on, friends, as I discuss alternative strategies that will allows you to make the most out of your affiliate marketing campaigns without having your own website on the net. First, what is affiliate marketing?
Affiliate marketing is a program whereby you the affiliate, earn a generous commission for every successful sale that you refer to the affiliate merchant. Your task is merely to pre-sell the affiliate merchant’s goods. In this example, the website is provided by the merchant not you! The sales page, the payment processing, the digital delivery, and post sales services are all the responsibilities of the affiliate merchant. The merchant gets many more customers than he could attract on his own, and you, as an affiliate, receive a commission for your efforts. Every body wins!
How does it work? As an affiliate you are provided with a unique link to the merchants sales page. Each time someone clicks on your unique link and buys something, the merchant knows that you are now eligible for a commission. Simple right? Ok, your challenge is now to get as many potential customers as possible to click on your link. It should be obvious, that the more places you can display your link, the more chances for customers to click on it, right?
Marketing the affiliate merchant’s goods without the benefit of your own website entails showing your links in ways you might not have considered in the past. Here are some strategies and techniques for you to try:
· Article Marketing. We all know how powerful article marketing is in link building campaigns. But instead of providing for links to your own website, you now provide your affiliate links instead. Article directories provide a resource box for each article submission you make. Not only can you tell your readers about yourself, but they allow you to provide your link as well. If you provide an article with good content, people are more likely to click your link. Now, you have to remember that some article directories do not allow affiliate links in the bodies of the articles themselves, but affiliate links are usually allowed in the resource box. A couple of places to start your article marketing campaign are ezinearticles.com , goarticles.com and isnare.com . The major search engines visit the Article Directories frequently looking for fresh content. Your articles and links will be picked up and spread far and wide!
· Forum marketing. Online communities, or forums, are another great way for you to promote your affiliate links. Membership in forums provides you with a signature box where you can advertise your links. Each time you post to the forum, your signature box with its link appears. If you were to post a thousand messages, you’ll have a thousand pages advertising your affiliate links! When selecting a forum to join, be sure to pick one that is relevant to your affiliate market products. A useful tool for selecting a forum can be found at: link-advantage.com/search to find the appropriate online community.
· Advertise in eZines. This may cost you some money, since many eZines charge for their advertising space. However, you can expose your affiliate links to highly targeted prospects using this approach. Imagine if the eZine has a list of 10,000 people. You’d immediately be able to reach 10,000 quality leads with one advertisement. Again, this can be done without your own website. Simply place your affiliate link in your ads.
Not having your own web site should not be a barrier to keep you from growing a thriving, vibrant Internet Business. By using the methods I have outlined, you will be well on your way to success. Most of the strategies I have discussed with you here can be accomplished without spending a single cent. Joining an affiliate program is free and the rewards can be substantial.
Good luck and good success!

You and RSS
Really Simple Syndication (RSS) is a tool used to receive updates from websites you frequently visit and enjoy. RSS utilizes a scanning code, which scans continuously for content or subject matter that you are interested in. The information is then transmitted to your PC.
RSS feeds are usually found on blog sites as well as in news provider sites. RSS can however, be used by anybody on any site. If you have updated fresh information, then this is something you need to investigate further. Once the new information is sent to you, it will contain a headline, a little bit of text, and a brief review of the information. To view the entire message you simply click on the link provided.
A feed reader is required to receive RSS feeds. These readers are called aggregators and are readily available online at no charge. Just look around for the file reader you like best. It is now possible to even receive RSS feeds on certain cell phones and PDA's!
If you are visiting a website that you want to receive information from in the future, just click the RSS button. In some cases you may have to copy and paste a line of code into your aggregator. The next time news breaks or new content is added to a favorite blog, it is sent directly to you.
If at some point you no longer wish to receive the RSS feed, you can simply disable the aggregator and the updates will stop. There is a great deal of flexibility with this tool.
RSS feeds are often quicker than email and are not subject to the same spamming requirements. The information you are waiting for doesn't end up in the spam folder because you forgot to white list a site you visited. If you require up-to-the-minute information, then RSS is the way to go! RSS feeds are widely used everyday by individuals who understand and appreciate the accessibility of fast reports and news.
Aggregators are popular use of feeds, having several kinds. Web aggregators or portals as they are sometimes called, create this view, which is then made available in a Web page. Also, Aggregators have been incorporated into e-mail patrons, users of desktops, or dedicated and standalone software.
Why should you make an RSS feed available?
You will have more visitors to your site. Since your information is sent automatically, your potential customers are given information without them having to intentionally visit your site. Every time you update information, it is sent to your RSS subscribers! It becomes critical for you to keep your information relevant and fresh. This is a win-win situation for everybody.
Wouldn't you rather visit your potential customers when you want and not when they happen to stop by your site? The RSS feed becomes your automatic broadcast system. This is a great way to get the word out about your goods and services. As your RSS feed subscribers increase, so does your opt-in list!
If you have a business that depends on customers viewing your web pages, then you need to take advantage of the benefits provided by using RSS!
To your success!
